How can I turn off Two-Factor AUTHENTICATION ??
There isn't an option in my Apple ID account settings to turn off Two-Factor Authentication. (Not two-step verification). Is Authentication something that everyone has to use now?

Any newer accounts have it on by default with no option to remove. Older accounts (years old) have the option to turn it off within two weeks. But, an increasing number of Apple services require 2FA; just like most any account provider.

If you use Apple Pay, messages in iCloud, iCloud Keychain, Home Kit, an Apple Card - all these services require 2FA (there may be others but I know those ones do).
Thank you! Very helpful :)
