Im driving sent from my car wont turn off

There doesn't seem to be an answer to this in the iPhone community. Since I found the answer, I'm posting it here.

I spent days digging through my iPhones settings, digging through the internet, and coming up with nothing. No matter what I did, I couldn't get my phone to stop sending, "I'm driving sent from my car"

The reason why I couldn't fix the issue, is that the problem has nothing to do with your phone.

If you can't stop your phone from auto replying "I'm driving sent from my car", then the answer is that it isn't your phone. In my case, it is a setting on my 2018 Nissan Sentra. In the Nissans touchscreen, it's under settings, bluetooth, auto reply and turn the setting to OFF.

I never turned on, this setting on my car. At all, since I've owned it. My only idea on how this setting mysteriously changed is that the car must have updated, or there is some sort of shortcut that I accidentally hit.

Either way, the problem is a setting on my Nissan. Under the Nissan touch screen's Own Bluetooth settings.

This fixed the issue for me, so I'm sharing it.

iPhone SE, iOS 15
