169 IP address IPV4

My iPhone is showing the 169 IP yet all other devices are ok tried forgetting network, manually adding correct IP and power cycling gateway. Anyone out there that can help in resolving issue?

Do you see a 169.254. x.x address, that means that the DHCP server is not reachable, you have set DHCP to Enable, see this Apple article: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

IP4 stands for Internet Protocol and is used to deliver datagrams between hosts in a network.

IP4 is different from an Automatic Private IP address.

It would be better if you can please re-post with a screenshot, in order to understand the phenomenon better. Images/pictures speak louder than words.
