Sync 13 Pro Max iPhone with computer??

I have the iPhone 13 pro max and I can’t get my photos from my computer to sync to my new phone. This used to be so easy but it is taking hours and still won’t work. I have no idea what to do. It won’t even let me select just certain albums on my computer to sync.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Hi, and Welcome to the Apple Community,

According to this Apple support article (link below):

seems you may need, macOS 10.15 or later to sync your content.

Sync iPhone with your computer

(NB: Choose your iOS (15 ?) at the top of the article for accurate info.)

NB: WARNING: If you delete a synced item from your computer,

the item is also deleted from your iPhone the next time you sync.

Hope this helps you :-)

It may take Some Time:

If you have literally thousands of photos, then it could take days to upload, in which case you'd have to wait it out.

As for Syncing Through iCloud:

Sign in to the same Apple ID on the iMac and on the iPhone, and then enable Photos in iCloud Settings on both. Being synced. As a result. Photos will be accessible between both both devices. Note that If you that thousands of photos, it may take some time.

Enable Photos on iPhone:

  1. Click: Settings
  2. Tap: your Name (top item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Photos (so that it is green)

Enable Photos on Mac:

  1. Go to: System Preferences
  2. Click: Apple ID (on top-right)
  3. Select: Photos (by giving it a check mark)
