Pinned tabs disappear in Chrome

Every single time I close my Chrome browser, all of my pinned tabs disappear. I've tried changing the various preferences, and nothing works. Pin tabs. Close browser. Pinned tabs disappear. I never once had this problem on any of my Windows-based computers. Ever. Is there an actual solution to this problem on Mac?? I've seen the question posted a number of times, but no one seems to have an answer.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.0

Hello HH17,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! It looks like you're having an issue with the Chrome app not working as expected, and we'd like to do what we can to help.

Since Chrome is not an Apple app, try following the steps in this article, as they apply if an app isn't working as expected:

If an app on your Mac stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

If you're still experiencing the issue, then reach out to the app developer:

How to contact an app developer

Take care!
