Peloton App

I started a Peloton membership over a year ago but today I went to take a class and peloton alerted me that I needed to renew my subscription. My access through Apple supposedly ends in Jan 2022 but my actual peloton subscription expired back in May? I wasn’t able to use the app for health related reasons over the summer/fall but assumed folks on my family share had been able to use it so was completely unaware that Apple had been charging me over 8 months for content I couldn’t access. How does that work? Has anyone had the same problem? Do you have to buy one to be a member and then another one for class access?

If you subscribe to the monthly content plan for your Peloton device (Bike or Tread), then it also comes with a digital subscription that allows you to access content on your mobile device. That is how I, and likely most others, do it.

There is no need to have a subscription for the content plan AND a digital subscription for your mobile device and you are, in effect, paying twice for the digital subscription.

If you only had a digital subscription for access from your mobile devices, you would not be able to access any content on your Bike or Tread.
