I've made an order for an iPad on Apple's official website on the 18th of December 2021.
The estimated delivery period is 17th - 25th January 2022.
Till now my credit card was not charged yet, so I was just wondering if the purchase date in the invoice will be the date that I placed the order (18th December 2021) or the date when they charge my credit card?

The date of the tax invoice was three days after the online order, and four days before it arrived on our doorstep via Apple's courier service. The date on the paperwork therefore is the day it was dispatched from Apple's sales area. This was also the date on which the money left our bank account.
This seems to be the common if not standard business practice. I can only presume this applies in your location.
