Apple TV 4K Siri remote touch pad not responding

Apple TV 4K Siri remote touch pad is not responding to touch. Have tried everything including reset and reconnect. Still no response from touch pad. Any suggestions?

Apple tv We have Spectrum as our internet provider, a Visio tv and Apple TV to connect the two. Most of the time they all get along and play nicely but lately the Apple tv has been dropping the connection as though the tv is going into sleep mode. If we don't hit the remote the the tv shuts off in the 3 minute interval. This will go on for an hour or more, and on all three tv's we have using an Apple tv box. Trying multiple button pushes will sometimes bring up on screen controls at the top of the screen with labels 'watch' and 'live'. If I am quick enough and move to the 'Live" button, the sleep mode shutoff will not happen for a wile, maybe until the tv is turned off. ANY ideas??

If the Menu key and TV/Home key are still working, then your issue is not in software.

Possibly the internal circuitry is broken. You may want to get it tested. Call Apple Support﹥Support by phone.

If it has a hardware defect, then you may have to replace it.
