Valmware on safar + Macbook?

Dear everyone, my little brother's MacBook has started acting weird, where sometimes in safari random pages reloads to bing, and the url is something sketchy while it's loading bing.

I do not know when this started.

It is a MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020), running Monterey 12.0.1

FYI there is no extensions installed on his safari

We have tried:

Clearing the Cache
Resetting all data and history
Restarting macbook
creating a new account on the MacBook, issue does not persist on new account.
Malwarebytes scan

What you described is how Adware/Malware behaves.

You will need to figure out which Malware is causing the problem and remove it.

It's very easy for anyone to accidentally install Adware when visiting bad web site.

Most of them are very annoying, but otherwise harmless.

Based on what you provided in your post, it may be possible that some form of adware/malware has "infected" his MacBook. I suggest that you try Malwarebytes for Mac to detect and remove any from this notebook.
