large difference in remaining charge on AirPods

I have new AirPods. I notice that the right AirPod seems to lose charge faster than the left. Specifically, both start at 100. I use them for a couple of hours when I get a tone in my right ear. When I check them the left is 37-45% and the right is 10%.

My left EarPods doesn't hold a charge very long at all. On my fairly new 2nd generation ear pod, the left one doesn't seem to hold a charge very long. Sometimes, I leave for a run with 100% charged. After a short time, it becomes Left one 60%, Right one 100%, case 100%. During the run, the left will kick out.

Go to: Settings
Tap: General
Tap: Accessibility
Scroll Down: to Hearing
Adjust: the audio volume balance
