Okay, so I have a new MacBook Pro and tried to transfer my old desktop to the new one, it erased all my custom icons for all my websites and pretty much everything else and now when I open a forum or YouTube or anything online the other one does it too with the safari icon next to finder, both do it to each other. If I sign out of iCloud it doesn't do it. I cannot figure this out. help...please.
Both of your Macs are performing as designed if you are using the same Apple ID for both of them. This synchronizes actions and results on both of them. The synchronization is done via your iCloud account which is common to both devices. If you sign out of one device from iCloud, then the behavior stops until you sign back in again. If you would like these devices to have their own individual data and confirguration, then you will have to assign separate Apple IDs to them.
Of course, the other option is to keep one of the devices signed out of iCloud after everything is synchronized on the new device.
