iMac M1 trackpad & mouse stutter, stop, jump, lag

My iMac M1 trackpad is constantly lagging and leaping, stuttering and stopping then jumping. The track pad does this less when I have it connected to my Mac via lightning/USB but does not eliminate the issue. I've tried a different Magic Trackpad on the same iMac M1 and the same stuttering occurs. I connect a Magic Mouse to the iMac M1, same symptoms. This indicates that it is the iMac, not the trackpads or mouse.

This problem started (for me) with the upgrade to macOS 12. It was not present in macOS 11

Personally I think the problem is with the Bluetooth hardware on the new m1 Macs. I have 2 new Mac mouse's. One black, one white. Neither of them jump around on my old 2015 iMac which is running Monterey. But both mice jump around when connected to my new Mac mini running Monterey. And yes if you switch them off and on again, they will work for a while. And then start jumping around again. I've even tried reinstalling system software and the problem persists on my Mac mini. Not on my iMac. 2 days ago my wireless keyboard also starting playing up. Keeps losing its connection to the Mac mini. Works for a while then suddenly disconnects.

M1 Mac mini 2020. MacOs 12.1. Black wifi mouse and white wifi mouse.

I am having the exact same issues All these replies about other software and energy saver and restarting your Mac are all ********. This is a MacOs 12 or M1 problem. And it has to do with bluetooth. I use axactly the same 2 bluetooth mice on my iMac running macOS 11, No Problem. Use them on my new M1 Mac mini and they're jumping all over the place. Been complaining about this since OS12 came out. What has Apple done - NOTHING.

Firstly if you do a simple search on the internet you will find there are plenty users having the same problems. Secondly I am not a Mac or macOS designer or developer. So I don’t know what the problem is, if I did I would not be seeking help from the Mac community. If you read my post you will see that I use both my magic mice on a iMac running BigSur and they work perfectly. As soon as I use either of them on the Mac mini running macOS 12 they start jumping about. I am looking for a reason and maybe a solution from the Mac community. It doesn’t help telling me it doesn’t happen to you. It’s not like I’m making it up. I would appreciate help and discussion from anybody experiencing the same problem and not from someone who is not experiencing the problem.
