I am trying to purchase I phone from Apple FR to be delivered in France as a gift. However I need invoice to be sent to my address in Malta. The prblem is that postcode in Malta is saying to be invalid. The post code in Malta is ABC 0000 Type of code but is not being accepted by the website.
It is quite possible you need an address in France to send it to. Most of the Apple Online stores required that the purchase be sent to an address within the same country as the store. However, the EU might be different. I would contact support using the "Get Support" link at the top right of every page of these forums.

Being able to send gifts to another country may depend upon what Apple allows where you live.
