How do I copy just the url from an attachment in Mail?

In Mail, I'm trying to copy just the URL of an attachment within an email. This option does not appear to be listed in the right-click list. For reference, Mail is pulling email from a Google Mail account in this case. In Gmail I'm able to right-click on an attachment and select "Copy Link Address", so it seems I should be able to do this within Mail as well.

what type of "attachment"...(?) image, PDF, zip file,

If the attachment is sent as part of the email, then the image/attachment is local and there would be no link.

If the image/attchment is reaching back to a remote server however—then there would be an associated link.
