Missing "Notes" from iPhone "Contacts"
How do I keep from losing information saved to the “Notes” section of a contact in “Contacts” on my iPhone 6SPlus?

It appears that the notes you leave in the Notes field in a contact card keeps disappearing, and we're glad to provide assistance.
Manage and delete contacts on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support -- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts. Tap the account(s) you're using in Contacts, and make sure that "Notes" has been turned on for each account you sync your Contacts with.
