When I try to log into my google account on safari on Iphone, it redirects me to microsoft log in?

I have tried to log into my Google account while using Safari on my IPhone. Every time I attempt to do this, it redirects me to log in to a Microsoft account. It does not matter what way I try to log in, it always redirects me to a Microsoft log in. I have tried using mail.google.com or accounts.google.com etc, it simply does not work and brings me to the Microsoft sign in page every time. How do I fix this so I can be logged into my Google account on Safari on my phone?

You probably need to log in to your Microsoft school account before you log in to Google, if you are on the school network. It’s to verify you are using your device.

when i go to mail.google.com this immediately pops up and i am redirected to a microsoft log in. i don’t even get the chance to attempt to log into google. i’m a college student and have a school email that is run through microsoft but also is connected to google as well so maybe that is potentially the problem and my safari assumes i am trying to log into my school account?

This is what I see when I go to mail.google.com:

Do you have a corporate Google account with MS Exchange support?

Do you see the Google login, and are redirected to Microsoft after you enter your Google ID and password, or does the Microsoft page come up immediately?

Although I would normally never access gmail on the web on my phone; I use the gmail app, and my wife uses the built in mail app.
