Backing up my computer to Kingston memory stick
`I have a problem on my MacBook Air computer.
I try to back up my files located in on my computer (not in iCloud)
to Kingston memory stick.
I use Apple Time Machine to back up my files.
It seems like the system remembers from the last time I was trying
to access Kingston memory stick. I attach the screen image of the message
to this post(see file. "Backup Disk Not Available. Try backing up when "KINGSSLAVA" is available")
System sends to me the message when I unsuccessfully try to back up the files.

I use the Apple disk utility to reformat the Kingston memory stick.
I successfully reformat the Kingston memory stick and erase all data on the stick.
I check the info option and see that all the space on the memory stick is available for writing.

I copy a file to the memory stick. I see that file is good.
I can edit the file , delete the file. etc, etc, etc. (see the attached screen image file "Space available on my Kingston memory stick" )
My computer operating system is up to date(See attached screen image file

I am pretty new in the Mac world and still have a lot to learn.
My computer is MacBook Air (M1, 2020) and is running
the latest version macOS Monterey version 12.1 (M1, 2020)
Can somebody in the forum help me and set me on the right path to a problem resolution?
