Fixing Mac book Air M1 with monterey not having internet access on wake, although it wakes up connected to Wi-Fi

I tried many things, only this solution works so far

uncheck wake for network access in power options

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

Wi-Fi icon on wake does not reflect actual connectivity in Monterey? I have noticed this on two MacBook Pros since I have upgraded. Often enough when I unlock or wake my MacBooks the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar either has a slash through it even though I have internet or has full connectivity icon with no internet. When I do not have connectivity I have to basically turn off wifi and then back on. It gets even stranger, though, with it sometimes telling me that my WiFi has weak security (WPA) even though the connection is WPA2/3. So something seems to be buggy with WiFi even though I still have connectivity.

Internet connection is slow when I wake my imac from sleep it takes a long time to connect to the internet. This has happened since I updated to Monterey
