Wi-Fi icon on wake does not reflect actual connectivity in Monterey?

I have noticed this on two MacBook Pros since I have upgraded. Often enough when I unlock or wake my MacBooks the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar either has a slash through it even though I have internet or has full connectivity icon with no internet. When I do not have connectivity I have to basically turn off wifi and then back on.

It gets even stranger, though, with it sometimes telling me that my WiFi has weak security (WPA) even though the connection is WPA2/3. So something seems to be buggy with WiFi even though I still have connectivity.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.0

Try booting to Safe Mode. That boot up takes minutes and clears caches and other things that may resolve your problem.

A lot of times just boot to Safe Mode followed by normal boot resolves problems.
