5G WiFi network won't show up in iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Hi, i would like to ask about this issues.

I just bought iPhone 13 Pro Max from iBox in Indonesia, when i came back home, i cant find my 5G wifi networks, i only able to see my other Wifi network (Same router, but has 2 connections, one is the normal one, and the other one is the 5G) on the list.

I already try to update my OS into 15.2, still not work.

Already reset my network, wont work.

Even i restart my router, the result still same.

By the way my router is X*aomi WiFi6 router AX6000.

Please help me to solve this problem, thank you.

Greetings Joshuawynn,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities for help with your new iPhone 13. If we understand, your iPhone see the 2.4GHz network, but it’s not finding the 5GHz network.

You done some really good troubleshooting already, thank you for sharing what’s been tried. Take a look at If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network. There are a few more steps you can try here that wasn’t mentioned.

Also, the article Recommended setting for Wi-Fi routers and access points will help you with knowing the settings are all correct on your router.

Reach back out if you still need help.

Have a great day!

Joshuawynn,

To be sure, you tried Reset Network Settings and you are still not seeing the 5GHz network?

When you were first setting up your iPhone, one of the first questions asked is what Wi-Fi network you want to use. Do you recall seeing the 5GHz network?

Do you have a VPN enabled on your iPhone 13? Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. If so, disable the VPN, Restart your iPhone and check to see if the 5GHz is showing up.

If not, you will want to reach out to Apple Support Advisors, and they can be reached by going to Get Support.

Good luck!
