Text messages & phone calls appear on 2 devices; want to appear only on designated phone #
My texts appear on my husband's phone and the only way to stop it is to turn off iMessages under the Messages tab in Settings. But then he does not receive ANY texts of his own and cannot send any. When we reactivate iMessages tab it shows my email and asks for my apple ID password. He has his own apple ID and other apps and services respond to that. Why is iMessages asking for MY apple Id??//
Stop sharing an Apple ID.
I'm having a similar issue with my phone and my wife's. We have separate Apple IDs, though. So something else is messed up.
I have this problem too.
Describe what is happening with your device.
This is happening to me with texts and calls. We set up my phone using his Apple ID but no longer share the same ID but his calls and messages are stop appearing on my phone. Any suggestions?
