I just got the new AirPods 3 for Christmas. It says that I should get 6 months of Apple Music for free but I only have the option for 1 month. What do I do?

Hi, I had that same issue with my Christmas gift. I’ve read tons of unhelpful solutions until I contacted apple directly via text message. I was told that the offer isn’t accessible to Apple ID’s that have had a previous subscription to Apple Music, including free trials. Hope this helped 🙁
