Hello ~ Hold down the “O” or “o” letter not the number. It will pop up and then without lifting your finger slide to ø or Ø and lift your finger. It takes some practice but easy after a bit. If you use the “0” number it will be °. That is the only way I know to do so on iPhone.

It is a matter of using the right font. When you use a monospaced font, then typing zero will often give you the slashed version. Try it yourself using Monaco.

A "slashed" zero is exactly the same as a zero as far as characters go. There is no way to enter it separately. It only looks slashed when a particular font is active.

Sometimes people mistake a slashed letter O (Ø) for this. You make that by pressing and holding capital letter O and choosing it from the popup menu.

The slashed zero is only available in certain fonts, usually monospaced, like Menlo and Monaco. If the app you are in allows you to choose the font, you can perhaps make it, but otherwise not.

Judging by the text size would you not think that’s a 0 and not an O?

Yes, I would. But sorry, zero and slashed zero are identical characters. There is no way distinguish them via any input system. If typing zero does not work, there is some other reason for it. Contact the support for the places where your password does not work.
