App store requires permission from guardian/parent even after Ask To Buy has been disabled

Hello! We disabled the Ask To Buy option for my account in the Family Sharing settings, but the App Store still requires me to ask for permission when I try to install an app. Since disabling it, my mother (guardian) is not able to accept or reject my requests. My dad however (organizer) is still able to. We checked on both of their devices, it shows for both of them that the setting is disabled.

I tried restarting my phone (iPhone SE 2020), and my iPad (6th generation), without any success. I also can't add my credit card (yes, it's mine legally and my bank supports it) to the Wallet app because whenever I try clicking on the + symbol (add button), I get a pop up saying "payment cards are not supported for this account".

I am above the age of 13, but below 18, if it matters. Please help me, I'd like to set up Apple Pay & install apps without asking for permission.

Have you tried signing out of the App Store/iTunes, restarting the device, and then signing back in to see if that changes the Ask to Buy problem?

Since you are still in Family Sharing, only the organizer's credit card can be on file. Your payment cards aren't supported.
