OS Monterey. Pages v. 11.2
A new iMac for me., so still adjusting. I inserted a table into a Pages document. The text included both telephone numbers and names. Predictively, the full stop/dot would appear, and definitely not where I wanted it to. Going into Page's Preferences, it was not obvious to me how this predictive dot can be changed so as not to appear. Any suggestions ? With thanks, Lyn

If you have System Preferences > Keyboard panel > Text tab > ☑︎ Add period with double-space enabled, then uncheck that option. It is really intended for body text where one ends a sentence, and double-spaces to avoid typing the full-stop.
