watch series 7 keeps locking

So I found my phone’ OS was running one behind (15.1)

I updated this and unpaired and re-paired the watch again.

the only thing I done differently was set the watch up as a “new watch” not from a saved back up from my older watch.

seems to working perfectly now.

So I eventually had to take mine to the apple store because it continued to play up.

they ran a diagnostic on it and it came back without any faults and told me it was 99% the tattoo it was sitting on top of causing it.

So I wore the watch on the opposite wrist(without tattoos) for a day and it worked without any problems.

the best advice they could give me was to turn off the passcode on the watch.

Which isn’t great because it means you can not use it for Apple Pay or for unlocking your phone when wearing your mask.

to be honest I would prefer my series 3.

also because it’s an issue with wrist detection, with passcode turned off when at the gym it constantly pauses any workouts.

really disappointed with this watch.
