Lack of support for "Listen Live" for elderly with hearing loss.

I have older relatives that have considerable loss of hearing.

I bought Aftershokz bone phone to try to help with "live listen" on an apple Iphone11 and 13.

Neither work. You can hear the background sound (stream,ocean, etc) from the phone, but nothing from microphone. The microphone on the phones appears to be disabled.

I have found no free app that does the same as "live listen".

Apple tech support said it only works with Apple products, i.e., Ipods or some hearing aids.

That feature would be a major help for many elderly folks who can barely communicate, one on one.
