How do I erase Apple Watch from iCloud acct? It says erase pending.

erase pending Hi, I have just unpaired an Apple Watch However when I tried to erase this watch erase is pending. How will I ease it, does it still have my Apple ID although I unpaired it? Thanks Safak

The watch needs to be online.
