How to create video DVD from .iso file

I am running macOS Monterey (12.1) on an iMac with external DVD (burner) drive. How do I burn a new DVD with a .iso file?

iMac Line (2012 and Later)

With a blank DVD disc in the burner Control (right) - click on the iso file and select Burn to Disc…

Burn at the slowest speed possible to help assure the best possible burn.
