All my contacts have disappeared as of today. What happened?

Sorry I don't know what has happened top your contacts ...
... did you accidentally delete them ?
Have you checked the trash / recently deleted folder ?
Is your iPhone low on storage space, so iPhone had to fid more in order to keep working?
