font in text messages became large!

Something to try, assuming iOS 15…

Settings > Control Center > add the Text Size control entry, if it’s not already present in Control Center

Launch Messages

While Messages is active, open Control Center > select the Text Size (AA) button > select the horizontal slider to Messages only > adjust the text size using the vertical slider, and see if that can increase or decrease the size here.

Hello ~ Try this…

Open the Settings *Tap Display & Brightness, and then tap Text Size.*On the Text Size page you can drag the slider at the bottom of the screen to make the text larger or smaller…adjust to where you like it.
