TouchID not working after dropping phone "Failed—unable to complete Touch ID setup"

I accidently dropped my phone, since then Touch ID is not

working. Home button doesn't vibrate/give feedback.

My iOS is updated 15.2.

I erased old fingerprint and now when I try to re-register,

it shows an error "Failed—unable to complete Touch ID setup"

iPhone 8, iOS 14

Hello milindmanem,

Thanks for participating in Apple Support Communities. We understand that after accidentally dropping your iPhone Touch ID and the Home button feedback no longer work as expected. For this you'll want to have your iPhone in for service. To look into your available options start here. Be sure to change to your location, if needed: iPhone Repair and Service

Thanks again, and take care.
