Hello,

Today I bought a mac book air from France but when I want to sign in my apple Id , I can't find the "dot" in its keyboard !

I searched everywhere ! Can you pls let me know where it is.

I am unable to login due to change of MacBook Air keyboard input I have a MacBook Air M1 and for the first time, I’m unable to login. After typing in the correct password under my login image, it then asks me for a ‘Name’ and ‘Password’? After a little investigating, it appears that my keyboard input has changed (which is really strange as I’ve never altered these settings)! So whenever I type my ‘correct’ password, the wrong letters and numbers are being entered. In the top right of my login screen it shows that the British Keyboard is active though, which is what I’ve always had it set as? Any help would be such appreciated, thank you. Apple ID sign in not showing on Mac? When I go to sign in to my Apple ID, I am met with this window (pictured). I am on Big Sur 11.4. Would updating my Mac to Monterey possibly fix this issue? Any other potential solutions?

If your keyboard is set to French mapping, then dot/period is at Shift ; , two keys to the right of M.
