my apple account is with an email i no longer use

Thank you for the response. The person I'm trying to help with this issue does not remember anything from the last apple account. They finally had to talk to apple and start a new account with all the current information. Again thanks for the response and the issue has been resolved.

Do you still have access to your old Apple ID?

Change Apple ID email following the steps at - Change your Apple ID – Apple Support (UK)

If you no longer have access to your account and email

You could try logging in with security questions - If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If these steps did not work for you, you'll need to contact Apple's Security Team in your location.
