Both my iPhone and my MacBook Pro are on the same network. Is there something I need to do on my Mac to make it appear as a display option in screen mirroring for my iPhone?

System requirements for Continuity on Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch. Make sure all devices are running the latest software version and Bluetooth is enabled on both.

My devices are compatible (iphone 12 and 2021 macbook pro), running the latest software version, and Bluetooth is enabled. I still do not see the Macbook on the available list. Is there some specific step I can take on the Macbook to make sure it will be listed as an available option?

Check for nearby interference that could be affecting the connection. Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference Make sure that your Wi-Fi network has the recommended settings as mentioned in Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points.
