What's the power output of the M1 Max MacBook Pro?
I'm trying to find specs for the maximum power output on the USB-C ports of the 2021 MacBook Pro (both 14" and 16") but couldn't find anything.
Is it as powerful as a 20W charger?

There are many "travel hubs" that can use wall power or the MBP USB-C power plug and channel recharge power to system ... this means the external devices do not have to vampire from the system. Here is one: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/TCDK6P2SG/
I just set a timer for half an hour and charged my iPhone 12 mini from 20% to 74% in those 30 minutes.
So it's clearly more than 2.5 Watts.
Would stil like to know what the official power output is as it might be an option to leave certain chargers for my other devices at home when I'm traveling...
Typical 'simple' USB power (without USB power delivery) is 0.5 Amp at 5 Volts, for a whopping 2.5 Watts.
Thanks for your reply. that seems quite low given that previous MBPs are able to charge at around 5V 2.1A.
Hi and thank you for your answer. I'm aware of those hubs which I'm using at the office as well. But this doesn't answer my question.
