I have a 2010 MacBook Pro. Im an avid garage band user mostly via my iPad Air 2. How can I get a version on my MacBook if I can't update up to 11?

It sounds like you want to download an older version of GarageBand, and we’re happy to help. The only way to download an older version would be if you previously downloaded that version using your Apple ID. If that is the case, it will show in Purchased in the App Store.
