My verizon cell service won't transfer to my new iphone

I set up my new iphone 12 and went through all the activation steps, but somehow it skipped the step where you put in your SSN to transfer the service and now I can't transfer it over. All of my other information is transferred, just the service isn't on the new phone. It still says verizon on the old phone but it's not receiving calls or texts so now neither phone is working. I can't find any information on this step being skipped over at all and what to do once it's set up.
