One more minute option in screen time does not shut off after one minute

Hi, I realised the issue on “one minute more” option during down time has been raised by someone in 2019. It’s 2022 in a few days. Can I check if there is a workaround to disable this option? By the way, when my son clicks one more minute, he can use that app for periods much longer than one minute. Sometimes up to 40 minutes. I am not sure how apple times this one minute but there is certainly a bug. It is a stupid option in the first place that defeats the purpose of screen time and down time.
