After erasing my HD, I try to install MacOS, but it says it requires an internet connection. What now? I can't setup wifi at this point. I have an ethernet to USB dongle, but the Mac doesn't recognize it.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.1
It should offer a network selection.
If it doesn’t, restart and hold down cmd-opt-r to boot from Internet recovery. It will ask to connect to Wi-Fi.

If you click on the wifi icon it should show available wifi network and you select one and enter its password.
