Missing Plugin on a clip after I deleted some old files from library

So i was happily working on this project yesterday until my hard drive was out of space, I deleted some old projects and then when I went back to my project I now have this error message. I cannot drag and drop the video back to FCP any longer, the video is able to play on Quicktime, even if I start a new project, this same clip cannot be dragged into fcpx to be worked on, it has the same error.

what is strange is that another clip that has not been worked on previously from the same source (SD card) filmed from a camera, i can drag into fcpx and work on it as a new project.

Is there anyway to find out what is the problem here?
