the line is only visible on my homescreen, i have a iphone 8 plus.
if you look at the first picture just above the wifi symbol you can see it
and then look at the second symbol, the difference in the spacing

That looks like the Black Line is a part of the Wallpaper that you are using for the Home Screen. Looks like a border to me. Change the Wallpaper of your Home Screen and see whether that resolves the issue.
