I have a new pair of airpod max headphones. I want to hear the best quality audio. What is the technique to connect the headphones to my macbook pro ( or other apple products) running OS 11.1 using a cable? Other than bluetooth how can the airpod max receive digital audio?

I would like to use the airpod max in a professional studio situation where the headphone feed is a powered 1/4" stereo female socket. How is this accomplished? These sound so good I want to use them anytime I want to hear sound on headphones without using the crappy headphone amplifier on a laptop or iphone when bluetooth is not available.
