EXCEL 2011 - will It function with Mac OS Catalina 10.15? I need to upgrade from Mojave 10.14.6. I wish to continue using Excel 2011. I do not use any other Microsoft Office app other than Excel.

No it will not work. Catalina requires 64 bit apps and Excel 2011 is a 32 bit app. Your spreadsheets will still work but you will need to upgrade Microsoft Office to use Excel with Catalina.
