Hello cjacobe,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities! We understand that music is missing on your Mac after upgrading to macOS Monterey. We'd be happy to help point you towards a resolution.

If you upgraded from macOS Mojave or earlier, iTunes has been replaced with dedicated apps for different types of media. Your iTunes media library is now available in the Apple Music app:

What happened to iTunes? - Apple Support

If your missing playlists were created as part of an Apple Music or iTunes Match subscription, you may need to follow the steps in the resource below:

If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library - Apple Support

If you're still unable to locate your playlists there, follow the steps under the "Locate your Music files" and "If a song no longer appears in Music" sections here next:

Keep us posted on the results.

Cheers!
