I had read that info too but when I tried to view Apple TV in Firefox, it looked like it was trying to open a pop-up window which is not allowed. Had to use Microsoft Edge instead. Due to the limited interesting content, I have since cancelled my subscription.
I don't know what your issue is but I've just had https://tv.apple.com working in Firefox in both Windows 10 and macOS Catalina.
