I bought a 2nd gen Apple pencil for my new iPad 9 10.5 inch. Apparently it doesn’t work with this iPad, which is ridiculous, so can I at least get a refund or trade my 2nd gen for a 1st gen?
Because of the price difference I shouldn’t have to pay for shipping.

If you purchased the Pencil within the last 14 days, you can return it for a full refund. If you wish to exchange it, you can contact Apple and ask about that, but you should be able to. You would need to speak to them about getting a return label anyway.
