Apple Pencil warranty

I brought a new Apple Pencil (1st gen) around June last year however I have upgraded to the iPad Air 4 in December, i was wondering if I could somehow swap in my 1st gen Apple Pencil for the 2nd gen?

Not through Apple. The Apple Trade In page mentions iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Android phones as eligible for a value towards the purchase of a new device, but Apple Pencil is not one of these.
