buying book in photos

I created a book in Photos and now want to purchase. For the last week I continue to get a message "STORE UNAVAILABLE. The store is currently down for updates. We'll be back shortly."

I am running on macOS Sierra.

Apple photos does not allow me to buy a photo book after I created it? I have a MacBook Air High Sierra 2015 10.13.6 I have used Photos to create a photo album. I created a project and made an album. It is now edited but it does not allow me to buy the book. I cannot download to my 2015 MacBook Air the latest macOS 10.14 Monterey because I guess it is too old or I can neither use the Motif App for the same reason. Do I lose my project (created album) or is there a way to purchase it as it is? if not, what other photo apps are compatible with the High Sierra 10.13.6? thanks Tinni

Issue with ordering photo book from Photos Hi all, I could really appreciate some help! I've been working on a photo book for my dad for his birthday. I've finally finished, but when I try to order it, I get an error message saying "Upgrade required. Ordering is no longer available for this version of Photos. Upgrade to the latest version before ordering." Is anyone able to help me do this? I tried updating my mac through the App Store, but that I'm getting the same error message. There is no option to update Photos in the App Store so I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated! I worked really hard on this and would be devastated if I cannot order it. Thanks in advance!

I downloaded photos for a book I created today. I have place the photos and written the text. Now trying to order from Apple Store - it will not let me place order. I have spent hours on this today and I'm very frustrated. Any ideas? Trying to order book created today from Apple Store - it will not allow order???

Apple shut down the photo printing service some years ago and no longer provide it. Unfortunatly the book creation feature still exists in older versions of MacOS.

You can either recreate your book using a third party service/plugin (eg Motif), or export your book as PDF and use a third party service that can print from PDF.
