My alienware monitor has a displayport connected to it going to hdmi and then the hdmi goes to thunderbolt which is connected to my mac. I am using bootcamp. My mac doesn’t detect the monitor and when I try putting the displayport option in alienware it has no signal how do I fix this?

To verify, does the monitor work if using it from with macOS, not Windows? If it’s only happening when using Windows through Boot Camp, you may want to reach out to Alienware and let them know what’s going on. They may have some other steps you can take to resolve this:

Did all the steps and got a blue screen now
Fixed the blue screen, updated the drivers, and it still doesn’t work. Is there anything else I can do to try getting it to work?
It doesn’t work in MacOS or bootcamp.
